Volunteering options

Shifts for morning screenings for the One World in Schools programme take place in a calmer setting and are attractive thanks to film discussions with students, which thoughtfully reflect current social issues. Assistense are needed to help seat children, prepare materials for teachers, or assist during discussions.

Help with afternoon and evening screenings mainly involves checking tickets and accreditations at the entrance to screenings, assisting with audience voting, and helping during discussions. Volunteers work with large audiences.

Virtual reality are interactive screenings. Volunteers check tickets, assist audience members with VR headsets, and help visitors orient themselves in the space.

Details on the role and progress of volunteer shifts will be given at an upcoming information session. At this point, it will be helpful to know some basic information.

You will find more information about the content and organization of volunteer shifts in the upcoming information manual. At this stage, it would be helpful if you could provide us with some basic information.

When do you want to help at the festival? *

Would you like to help us more with the accessibility of the festival programme for everyone without distinction? *

We believe that the right to culture and cultural life is one of the fundamental human rights. That is why One World strives to be as accessible as possible to everyone, without distinction. However, accessibility means much more than just installing a ramp at the entrance. It is also important to consider access to information and the accessibility of staff. We therefore welcome volunteers interested in greater involvement within the One World for All programme. This primarily involves assisting audience members with reduced orientation abilities or physical disabilities.

Write us something about yourself :) What do you like about the festival, what interests you? What do you do in your free time? *

We are very grateful for any help, if you would like to help us in a specific area, would like to use your experience from practice or study, have any superpowers, write us about it.

Are you fluent in any foreign languages? Which ones? Or is my primary language other than Czech or English.
